My Hobbies:

My hobbies are many. I like collecting sports & non-sports cards, collecting autographs & art (mainly obtained from Dragon*Con), reading, writing, surfing the Internet, watching movies, playing PC games (especially Warcraft III) and listening to all kinds of music except rap. I like to chat as well on MSN & Yahoo.

Still, where to start on my hobbies though. I guess from the first, collecting cards. I started collecting cards back in 1996 when I saw my cousin Tab's cards of Spider-Man. I was hooked right then & there. Since then I've collected cards from Marvel and DC comics, Star Wars, Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons, Dawn by Linsner, all sorts of sports cards which make up the smallest part of my collection, and so many others I can't remember them all. I'll expand on this area later.

Autographs and art...that's become a growing collection since I started going to Dragon*Con. I've got autographs from actors & actresses, artists, and authors from all sorts of genres. Most of them I also have a picture of me and the person I got an autograph from. I'll put a special link up at the bottom of this section to my galleries at Dragon*Con so you can go check them out and see who I've met over the past few years. I would like to get some autographs from eBay & other places on the 'net, but you never know if you're getting the real deal. At least at Dragon*Con, I see the person signing the 8"x10" or the print and I get to meet them as well (added bonus).

What I read:

Reading..well I mostly like reading fiction. I'm reading the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. I'm going to get the chance to meet him this year at Dragon*Con and I can't wait! It's a good series of books. I'm only on the third book and there are 10 or 11 in the series, so I have a lot of catching up to do. I'll make it though. Try to read at least one chapter a day, sometime two so it doesn't take long to go through a fifty-something chapter book. I also enjoy reading books by David Eddings (The Belgariad Series, The Malloreon Series, The Elenium Series, The Tamuli Series, Belgarath the Sorcerer, & Polgara the Sorceress), Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (The Dragonlance Series "just starting to read these"), George R.R. Martin ( The Song of Fire and Ice Series), C.S. Lewis (The The Chronicles of Narnia Series), Tolkien (The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings Series), and J.K Rowling (The Harry Potter Serie). Most of those I've listened to the unabridged audio CD version of the book. Robert Jordan is the only one I've actually read, but being unabridged it's just like reading the real thing.
