About Me
A little about myself. That could be a really boring subject (I think..some don't)! Well, my name is Ryan and I'm 32 years old and single. I live in the great state of Alabama. I've lived here all my life. I'm lucky enough to live on the beautiful Chattahoochee River. It really is a beautiful river and before my diving accident, which unluckily happened in that same river, I swam, fished, and played there. I basically lived a simple life before my accident and do the same now.
My life now is a lot different. After my accident, I finished high school with my class, went to a state run rehab clinic and learned a little bit about computers, and then decided to go on to college where, after 3 years I received my Associates in Liberal Arts degree. I want to be a Sci/Fi and Fantasy writer, but I really don't know what I'm gonna do when I grow up. I like doing web pages and graphics and wouldn't mind pursuing a future in that, but I'm not sure how to get a job doing those things yet (looking into it).

Why "The Lion"
Well, I guess the starting of that is that lions are my favorite animals. By far, in my humble opinion, is the grace & strength the lion has. It's not a "magical" thing...they are just pure beauty & beast all wrapped in one package. I'm not saying I'm beautiful at all. I do not claim that a part of my character. I do believe I have a certain level of inner strength that a lion has physically.
Secondly, my name is Ryan. It kind of rhymes with lion, depending on your accent. I believe everyone should have a nickname. So, I set out to give myself one. Since I like lions & my name rhymes with "lion", I thought why not? So, thus is the explanation of Ryan the Lion.
I don't always go by "The Lion". Here lately I've been going by LyinRyan on message boards and forums. It also seems to suit me. Keeps people guessing on the real truth about moi!
I'll be adding more about myself soon.

"Our prayer was simple - to raze Ilium's walls to its roots, kill its heroes, rape its women, enslave its people. Is that too much to ask?" - Agamemnon - Ilium
